Job summary

Major League Hacking seeks a Developer Research Coordinator to organize studies, manage our developer participant panel, and translate raw research into organized, analysis-ready evidence. You will coordinate studies, recruit participants, and support the MLH Census with large-scale analysis across thousands of responses.

You will work remotely with a global team, overlap UK hours, and employ LLM-assisted workflows to process qualitative material while verifying themes against the source data.

Qualifications

• Organized and reliable, able to take ownership of defined work packages.
• Able to manage research participant logistics end-to-end.
• Experience with LLMs to analyze qualitative material and critique outputs.
• Comfortable navigating developer tools, documentation, and code; programming knowledge not required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate research studies, invitations, scheduling, reminders, and logistics.
• Support ~1 substantive study per month with 10–20 participants.
• Recruit for upcoming studies, coordinate fieldwork, and process finished research.
• Clean transcripts, tag quotes, identify themes using established workflows.
• Review AI-generated outputs for accuracy and alignment with source material.
• Produce analysis-ready evidence packs for the lead researcher.
• Run the developer panel: recruitment, onboarding, profile maintenance, matching, and Q&A.
• Test onboarding experiences, documents, code examples, and workflows.
• Support the MLH Census with large-scale data analysis.
