About Talus Network:

Talus Network is a special-purpose L1 blockchain designed for building onchain multi-agent systems. With Nexus, the first onchain agentic framework, developers can access the tooling required to deploy innovative agentic consumer apps.

Role Overview:

As the Developer Relations Lead at Talus Network, you will be the bridge between Talus and the global developer community. Your primary mission is to empower developers to build innovative applications on Talus, advocate for their needs, and cultivate a vibrant, engaged community. You will collaborate closely with business development, product, engineering, and marketing teams to ensure developers have everything they need to succeed while representing their feedback internally.

Responsibilities:

Community Engagement:

  • Build and nurture a thriving developer community around the Talus Network by engaging with developers on forums, social media, and events.
  • Organize and host virtual and in-person meetups, webinars, hackathons, and developer workshops to grow community involvement.
  • Collaborate with content creators to produce technical tutorials, guides, and documentation that help developers onboard and thrive.

Developer Advocacy:

  • Serve as the voice of the developer community within Talus, providing feedback to the product and engineering teams to enhance developer experience.
  • Promote best practices, share case studies, and highlight innovative use cases of Nexus, the Talus agentic framework.
  • Respond to developer inquiries, resolve technical issues, write code and examples, and facilitate communication with the internal teams to ensure developers are supported.

Content Creation & Communication:

  • Develop technical content (blog posts, videos, tutorials, sample projects, documentation) to demonstrate the capabilities of Talus Network and guide developers through building on the platform.
  • Collaborate with marketing to align messaging and promote Talus as a leading platform for decentralized agentic apps.
  • Stay active on platforms like GitHub, StackOverflow, Twitter, and Discord to answer questions and engage with the developer community.

Partnerships & Ecosystem Growth:

  • Work with the Head of Business Development to Identify and establish relationships with key partners, developer influencers, and other communities to expand the Talus ecosystem.
  • Work closely with engineering and product teams to integrate feedback into the product roadmap, ensuring that user insights and needs are reflected in development priorities and future features.
  • Collaborate with third-party developers and external projects to create integrations, tools, and resources that make developing on Talus easier and more efficient.
  • Work with the team to shape our bounty programs, hackathons, and grants that incentivize developers to contribute to the Talus ecosystem.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in Developer Relations, Developer Advocacy, or a similar role within blockchain or Web3 environments.
  • Strong technical background with an understanding of smart contracts, decentralized applications, and agentic frameworks.
  • Strong programming experience with at least one of JavaScript, Python, Rust under your belt and willingness to learn any language our agentic framework will standardize on (currently: Python).
  • Experience engaging with and building developer communities through platforms such as Discord, GitHub, StackOverflow, and social media.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex technical concepts into approachable content.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and execute community-building strategies.
  • Passionate about decentralized technologies, open source, and autonomous agents.
Bonus Skills:
  • Advanced knowledge and experience with Move.
  • Experience with organizing developer-focused events and hackathons.
  • Previous experience working with open-source projects or decentralized protocols.
  • Knowledge and experience contributing to developer tools or agentic frameworks.
