Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Design Engineer - Natural Gas to support the full lifecycle of gas distribution projects, including plan reviews, design work, and coordination with municipalities and partners. This role offers hybrid work with site visits based in Austin, TX, and requires the ability to travel occasionally.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline and 0–2 years of natural gas engineering experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil, mechanical, chemical, or petroleum engineering.
• Ability to travel for occasional project visits and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Hybrid environment with site visits and in‑person meetings in Austin, TX.
• 0-2 years of natural gas engineering experience.
• Experience in transportation engineering or general utility engineering.

Responsibilities

• Support full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects.
• Review public improvement plans and perform engineering calculations.
• Develop pipeline routes and construction estimates.
• Coordinate with municipalities and external partners; provide field support.
