Job summary

ENTRUST Solutions Group is seeking a Design Engineer - Natural Gas to support the full lifecycle of gas distribution projects, including plan reviews, design work, and coordination with municipalities and partners. This role offers hybrid work with site visits based in Austin, TX, and requires the ability to travel occasionally.

Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in a related engineering discipline and 0–2 years of natural gas engineering experience.

Join our dedicated team as a Design Engineer - Natural Gas, where you will support critical natural gas infrastructure projects within our growing Public Improvement team. ENTRUST Solutions Group is an industry leader in engineering consulting, known for its expanding gas utility presence and commitment to delivering high‑quality, community‑impacting infrastructure solutions. In this role, you will be at the forefront of natural gas distribution design, plan review, and project coordination, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of public improvement projects.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will support the full lifecycle of natural gas distribution projects while working closely with project engineers, designers, and cross‑functional stakeholders. Your work will include reviewing public improvement plans, preparing engineering designs, performing engineering calculations, developing pipeline routes, and creating construction estimates. You will coordinate with internal teams, municipalities, and external partners while providing field support and site visits as needed. This position offersremote work flexibility, with site visits based in Austin, TX.

Minimum Requirements
