Job summary

Huge is seeking a Design Director to lead the Creative Craft in the United States. You will define and elevate visual, UI, brand, and product design directions for world-class brands and lead multidisciplinary teams with clients to deliver scalable, high-quality digital experiences.

We expect a leader who blends craft with strategy, comfortable across visual, systems design, and product, and who embraces AI-driven design processes to maintain top-tier quality. This role is remote within the U.S.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in creative leadership within digital design and product teams.
• Demonstrated depth in at least two design disciplines (e.g., visual/brand + product/UI or interaction + motion).
• Strong portfolio with world-class brands, including AI-assisted processes.
• Deep expertise in product and UI design, including design systems, workflows, and advanced Figma mastery.
• Hands-on fluency with AI-driven design and production tools used daily.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted client relationships and guide visual and product design decisions.
• Translate brand, product, and business objectives into clear creative strategies.
• Define and own visual and interface direction across products for consistency and impact.
• Set a high bar for UI craft, brand, visual systems, motion, and design execution.
• Lead the creation and evolution of design systems, UI frameworks, and visual identity systems.
• Champion AI-augmented design workflows and integrate them into team practice.
• Drive innovation across visual design, interaction, motion, and emerging tech.
• Lead and mentor multi-disciplinary teams including visual, UI, UX, copy, and motion designers.
• Inspire and elevate creative teams through direction, feedback, and coaching.
