Job summary

The Medserv Group is seeking a Dermatology Collaborating Physician for a part-time, 100% remote role based in North Carolina. The position is a 1099 independent contractor with a monthly compensation of $500 and requires active NC licensure and DEA registration.

You will collaborate with nurse practitioners across multiple skilled nursing facilities, providing supervision, care planning, and ensuring compliance with state regulations while working remotely.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Active, unrestricted physician license in North Carolina.
• Valid DEA registration and NC credentials as required for the role.
• Experience with geriatric patients in a clinical setting.
• Dermatology experience or familiarity with dermatology nurse practitioner services preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with nurse practitioners to supervise dermatology services.
• Support care planning and service delivery at skilled nursing facilities.
• Maintain NC medical license and required credentials.
• Communicate with the MedServ team on clinical collaboration.
• Follow state laws and policies governing physician collaboration.
