Job summary

The MedServ Group is seeking a Dermatology Supervising Physician to remotely supervise NPs who provide care to residents in Skilled Nursing Facilities in North Carolina. You will use clinical skills to ensure high-quality elderly care across facilities.

Responsibilities include supervising NPs, coordinating care remotely, and engaging with the Board of Medicine as needed. A valid NC medical license and a DEA license are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid medical license in the state.
• DEA/Controlled Substances license required.
• Familiarity with EMR & billing systems (PCC, MatrixCare, AdvancedMD, Clearinghouses such as Trizetto/Change Healthcare).
• Geriatric care experience in clinic, hospital, or nursing home.

Responsibilities

• Oversee supervision of nurse practitioners (NPs).
• Collaborate with NPs and manage resident care remotely across multiple facilities.
• Attend Board of Medicine meetings or support proposals for collaborative relationships with licensed doctors.

Compensation: $1000 - $1200 per month.

Dermatology Supervising Physician Responsibilities

• Overseeing the supervision of our nurse practitioners.
• Collaborating with nurse practitioners and managing the care of residents at numerous facilities (remotely).
• Willingness to attend Board of Medicine meetings or submit requests to the Board in support of proposed collaborative relationships with licensed doctors.
• Maintaining an active and valid medical license.
• Must hold a valid medical license in the state.
• Familiarity with EMR & billing systems such as PCC, Matrix Care, Advanced MD, Clearinghouses such as Trizetto and Change Healthcare etc preferred.
• Must hold a valid DEA/Controlled Substance License in the state.
• Geriatric experience in a clinic, hospital, or nursing home.
