Southern Poverty Law Center is seeking a Deputy Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning who is passionate about social justice and data-driven program design.

The role leads MEAL strategy, oversees cross-department collaboration to implement accountability practices, and supports learning and improvement across SPLC’s programs with opportunities for local remote work and telework options.

Qualifications

• Seven+ years of MEAL experience.
• At least five years of directly managing staff.
• Bachelor's degree in political science, sociology, measurement & evaluation, social work, education, public policy or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of a MEAL strategy responsive to social justice work.
• Provide guidance and review for MEAL products for technical soundness and accessibility.
• Manage MEAL team collaboration with other departments to design MEAL frameworks and capture data.
