Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in CDFI loan servicing, credit risk management, or portfolio management.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• Experience managing nonprofit loan portfolios.
• Strong knowledge of loan documentation, credit analysis, compliance, and protections strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day lending operations including pipeline management and underwriting oversight.
• Supervise loan officers and origination staff with guidance on product fit and borrower engagement.
• Prepare and present materials for the credit committee and ensure quality underwriting.
• Cultivate partnerships with community organizations to expand referrals and co-lending opportunities.
• Lead market strategy, outreach campaigns, and business development aligned with mission goals.
• Supervise, coach, and evaluate lending and partnership staff and foster a mission-driven culture.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and report on lending metrics.
