Thrivent seeks a detail-oriented deposit operations support specialist to assist origination, maintenance, and servicing tasks. You will process routine transactions, handle ACH/wire activity, RDC, and check processing while following controls and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
• Ability to learn and apply banking procedures, operational processes, systems, and regulatory requirements.
• 0-2 years of related banking or customer service experience.

Responsibilities

• Support deposit origination and servicing by processing routine account requests and transactions.
• Perform routine ACH, wire, RDC, check processing, and servicing activities per procedures.
• Process routine exception items and escalate complex or high-risk cases.
• Respond to customer inquiries with researched account information and timely updates.
• Complete ownership updates, product changes, and fiduciary documentation as needed.
• Assist with regulatory servicing processes and related requests per guidance.
• Support fraud prevention by identifying unusual activity and escalating concerns.
• Communicate professionally with customers and partners while maintaining confidentiality.
• Participate in training and cross-training to build knowledge of deposit operations.
