• Work with payers to maximize reimbursement.
• Communicate with departments and patients.
• File corrected claims with proper records.
• Write effective appeal letters.
• Post payments according to remittance advice by month end.
• Interpret financial reports and monitor denial trends.
• Balance and ledger entries with Accounting.
