Qualifications

• Experience in CPT and ICD coding is required.
• Experience working with all levels within an organization is required.
• Relevant experience preferred is 0 to 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform retrospective account reviews and resolve coding denials.
• Analyze coding-related denials to identify trends and root causes.
• Develop suggestions for coding and documentation process improvements.
• Provide regular feedback and ad-hoc education to promote coding practices.

Skills

CPT and ICD coding

Experience with all levels within an organization

Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

Bachelor's degree

AAPC or AHIMA Coding Certification
