Job summary

Maximus, a leader in government services, seeks a Delivery Leader to oversee the development, testing, and implementation of a large-scale healthcare system for State Medicaid clients. This remote role requires coordinating multiple teams, driving quality, and ensuring compliant delivery across projects.

Responsibilities include strategic direction, establishing delivery standards, and collaboration with managers, architects, and operations.

Qualifications

10+ years of software development experience with 5+ years in technical leadership.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
Experience overseeing delivery for enterprise healthcare systems, preferably Medicaid-related.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic direction to software engineers within the IT Applications Development team.
Define the key priorities in pursuit of the vision and goals of the Software Engineering practice.
Ensure adherence to SDLC, release management, and change management processes.
Lead and manage staff, including hiring, performance management, and termination.
Collaborate with delivery managers and product managers to support product delivery and enhancements.
Oversee implementation of the COTS product for new and existing State Medicaid customers.
