Job summary

Gcore is seeking a Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM) Engineer to design, implement, and maintain critical data center infrastructure. You will collaborate with IT, facilities, and operations to ensure efficient, compliant operations.

Your role includes capacity planning, monitoring hardware like servers and network devices, and keeping documentation up to date. Strong technical and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in data center infrastructure management.
• Strong understanding of data center technologies including power, cooling, and network systems.
• Experience with data center monitoring and management tools.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects at once.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data center infrastructure (power, cooling, and network).
• Monitor and maintain data center equipment (servers, storage, and network devices).
• Perform capacity planning for current and future workloads.
• Develop and maintain data center documentation (equipment inventory, floorplans, and infrastructure diagrams).
• Troubleshoot and resolve data center issues (power, cooling, and network).
• Work with IT, facilities, and operations teams to ensure data center compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Plan and execute data center upgrades and migrations.
• Research and recommend new data center technologies and best practices.
• Provide training and support to other teams as needed.
