Job summary

OmniOn Power Inc. is seeking a Telecommunications Installer DC (Level III). The role is 100% remote with overnight travel to customer sites in a regional area, with periodic travel beyond the region. The preferred location is Houston, Texas.

The incumbent will lead wiring changes on DC power equipment, manage tool inventory, and prepare MOP/JIM. Reporting to the Southern Region Service Manager, the position emphasizes safety, scheduling, and high-quality installations.

Qualifications

Three years of experience in Telecom DC power equipment installation.
Two years of experience in pulling & sewing cable, construction of cable racking, bay mounting
Valid driver’s license
Ability and willingness to travel 100% of the time
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Responsibilities

Lead small to medium sized service projects.
On-time completion and quality of the installation project.
Responsible for inventory and staging of equipment and materials, weekly status report to supervisor, reading and interpreting specifications and drawings.
Assist Level IV Technician on lead verification (voltage).
Add or remove DC power systems, batteries, and add or remove common systems equipment hardware.
Support installation, commissioning of wireless, datacenter, and EV charging equipment.
Comply with all EHS and regulatory guidelines.
