Job summary

Eliassen Group seeks a Mid-Level Databricks/Informatica Data Engineer to support enterprise data modernization, cloud migration, analytics, and integration initiatives. You will design scalable pipelines in Databricks, implement ETL/ELT using Informatica, and help migrate data platforms to cloud environments.

This remote contract role requires 5+ years in data engineering, strong SQL, and experience with Databricks, Informatica PowerCenter/IICS, and data warehousing concepts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of data engineering or data warehousing experience.
• 3+ years with Databricks, Apache Spark, or cloud-based analytics.
• 3+ years with Informatica PowerCenter or Informatica IICS.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale data integration solutions.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and IICS.
• Build and optimize Databricks notebooks, workflows, and pipelines.
• Develop data ingestion frameworks from structured and unstructured sources.
• Implement transformations, cleansing, enrichment, and validation.
• Create scalable solutions with PySpark, Spark SQL, Delta Lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Troubleshoot data integration, performance, and quality issues.
• Support migration to modern cloud architectures.
• Maintain technical docs, data mappings, and runbooks.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, code reviews, deployments.
