Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Mid-Level Databricks/Informatica Data Engineer for remote contract work. You will support enterprise data modernization, cloud migration, analytics, and integration initiatives, building scalable Databricks pipelines and Informatica ETL/ELT solutions.

Responsibilities include data ingestion, transformations, and collaboration with data architects and analysts to enable BI and advanced analytics. Must work on a W2 basis with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering, ETL development, or data warehousing.
• 3+ years with Databricks, Apache Spark, or cloud analytics platforms.
• 3+ years with Informatica PowerCenter, Informatica IICS, or Informatica Cloud.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain enterprise ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica PowerCenter and IICS.
• Create and optimize Databricks notebooks, workflows, and data pipelines at scale.
• Develop data ingestion frameworks from structured and unstructured sources.
• Implement data transformations, cleansing, enrichment, and validation processes.
• Create scalable solutions with PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Troubleshoot data integration, performance, and data quality issues.
• Support migration to modern cloud-based data architectures.
• Develop and maintain technical docs, data mappings, and runbooks.
• Participate in Agile planning, code reviews, and deployments.
