Job summary

Eliassen Group is seeking a Mid-Level Databricks/Informatica Data Engineer for remote contract work in the United States. The role supports enterprise data modernization, cloud migration, analytics, and integration initiatives.

You will design and implement scalable data pipelines using Databricks and Informatica, enabling BI, reporting, and advanced analytics across cloud platforms. Strong SQL, ETL/ELT skills, and experience with data warehousing are required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering/ETL/data warehousing.
• 3+ years with Databricks, Spark, or cloud analytics platforms.
• 3+ years with Informatica PowerCenter/IICS.
• Strong SQL development and performance tuning.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines with Informatica PowerCenter or IICS.
• Build and optimize Databricks notebooks, workflows, and data pipelines.
• Develop and support data ingestion from structured and unstructured sources.
• Implement data transformations, cleansing, enrichment, and validation.
• Create scalable PySpark, Spark SQL, and Delta Lake solutions.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements.
• Troubleshoot data integration, performance, and data quality issues.
• Support migration to cloud-based architectures from legacy warehouses.
• Develop and maintain data mappings and runbooks.
• Participate in Agile sprint planning, reviews, deployments.
