Eliassen Group is seeking a Databricks Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and infrastructure supporting consulting services and SaaS solutions. You will partner with ML engineers, software engineers, data scientists, and analysts to deliver data products and strengthen internal data practices.

The role is full-time, permanent, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits. Willingness to work on a W2 basis is required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years of data engineering or related work experience.
• Expert in Python, SQL, Databricks and Spark.
• Experience building cloud data pipelines in AWS.
• Knowledge of data governance, security, privacy, retention.
• Strong communication and agile experience (Jira).
• Proficient with Git, Docker, and CI tools (Jenkins).
• Energy/utility sector experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and infrastructure on AWS.
• Translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Mentor junior data engineers and establish best practices.
• Build data lakes and ensure data quality and availability.
• Collaborate with data scientists and analysts on data products.
• Oversee SDLC and DevOps activities related to data engineering.
• Stay updated on industry trends and new tech.
