Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Databricks Engineer to design, build, validate, and support data solutions for enterprise operations, analytics, and decision-making. You will work with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Python/Scala, SQL, and lakehouse design across an evolving data platform.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, maintainable solutions, optimize performance and costs, and deliver data governance and quality checks throughout the delivery

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data engineering or related role.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, Python/Scala, SQL.
• Strong SQL skills and data modeling experience.
• Experience with ETL/ELT, data quality, and governance.
• Ability to translate business needs into maintainable data solutions.
• Excellent documentation and stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data pipelines, transformations, reports, models, or platform components as required by the role.
• Translate source-to-target and business requirements into validated technical data solutions.
• Implement data quality checks, access controls, monitoring, and failure-recovery procedures.
• Tune SQL, processing jobs, models, dashboards, or platform resources for performance and cost.
• Document data definitions, lineage, operational procedures, and technical decisions.
