Job summary

KeyLogic is seeking a Data Engineer to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using Databricks to support the DOE. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure data is collected, processed, and made available reliably for analytics and operations in a remote environment.

To excel, you should have 2+ years on Databricks and large-scale big data projects, 4+ years of Python/Java, a Bachelor's degree, and U.S. citizenship with government contracting experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of engineering experience on Databricks and large-scale big data projects (Delta Lake, DLT, Apache Spark, unity Catalog).
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 4+ years of experience in Python or Java, with tooling, logging, monitoring, and observability.
• Experience with government contracting and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines using Databricks.
• Develop infrastructure as code with Terraform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve data processing and infrastructure issues.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data lifecycle.
• Automate repetitive tasks to improve efficiency.
