Job summary

Primoris IT seeks a Database Developer to design, develop, optimize, and support database solutions. You will write efficient T-SQL, build database objects, and troubleshoot issues while partnering with technical and business teams to ensure secure, reliable data delivery.

Ideal candidates will have strong analytical skills, data management knowledge, and the ability to communicate with project teams and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of database development experience or equivalent.
• Strong T-SQL skills including stored procedures, views, functions, and triggers.
• Solid data management practices: permissions, security, monitoring, and modeling.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Gather and analyze requirements; design and implement secure, reliable database solutions.
• Develop and optimize T-SQL queries and objects to support ops, reporting, and migrations.
• Apply data management best practices including security, monitoring, and performance tuning.
• Support ERP conversion, data cleansing, and post-implementation reconciliation.
• Troubleshoot incidents, performance issues, and data discrepancies with root-cause analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maintain stable, secure database environments.
• Review code and provide feedback to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
• Plan work, estimate effort, document solutions, and report progress to stakeholders.
