DecisionPoint is seeking a Journeyman Database and Application Support Engineer to maintain database availability, support application operations, and coordinate recovery actions for the USMEPCOM ENLIST program. Responsibilities

• Monitor and support the availability, performance, health, and recoverability of enterprise databases and applications.
• Review operational alerts, service failures, database errors, application errors, performance degradation, and user-reported issues.
• Diagnose database availability issues, failed services, connection failures, authentication problems, resource constraints, and performance issues.
• Analyze application dependencies across databases, servers, services, middleware, APIs, certificates, networks, cloud platforms, storage, and external interfaces.
• Troubleshoot database listeners, connection strings, connection pools, ports, drivers, service accounts, permissions, and network paths.
