CI&T is seeking an experienced Data Tech Lead to guide Data Engineering teams in delivering scalable, high-quality data solutions. You will drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and ensure robust data platforms while collaborating with clients and cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes hands-on leadership in modern data platforms, AI-enabled data strategies, and delivering business impact for global clients in a remote setup.

Qualifications

• Advanced English communication (written and spoken).
• Bachelor's degree in CS/DS/Engineering/IT or related field.
• Strong experience in Data Engineering.
• Hands-on Databricks experience.
• Proficient with Spark and cloud data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Programming in Python, Scala or Java.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support multiple Data Engineering teams; foster high performance.
• Mentor engineers and promote engineering best practices.
• Drive code quality and continuous improvement across teams.
• Design and review scalable data solutions using Databricks and cloud tech.
• Define coding standards, architecture principles, and docs guidelines.
• Conduct code reviews and provide technical feedback.
• Stay current with data engineering trends and best practices.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to align goals.
