Job summary

A data solutions provider is seeking a Tech Lead in Data Engineering to own the technical direction of data initiatives. This fully remote role requires 10+ years of experience, hands-on expertise with Python, SQL, and AWS. The candidate will mentor engineers, drive architectural decisions, and tackle enterprise-scale data challenges. In addition to a competitive salary of $65,000 - $130,000, benefits include flexible hours, health insurance, and professional development support.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or related roles.
• Proven experience as a Tech Lead, Lead Data Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong hands-on expertise with Python & SQL, PySpark, Databricks, and AWS.
• Solid background in data architecture, pipeline design, and distributed systems.
• Experience mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to influence technical decisions.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

• Design and build scalable, production-grade data pipelines.
