Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead strategy and architecture for enterprise data, ontology, and AI platforms. You will set scalable standards across Palantir Foundry/AIP and AWS, partnering with technology and business leaders to define roadmaps that enable secure, governed, and cost-effective data use.

Own Ontology strategy, define reference architectures, and drive governance across policy, billing, claims, and analytics domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, data science, or related field.
• 10+ years in Enterprise/Data/Solution Architecture roles, with 5+ years in enterprise/domain architect capacity.
• 4+ years designing enterprise data, cloud, or AI architectures at scale.
• 3+ years of Palantir Foundry and AIP experience, including Ontology design/governance.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling, ontology concepts, data mesh/product thinking, and domain-driven design.
• Strong architecture expertise with AWS, cloud-native patterns, event-driven and API integration.
• Experience with Snowflake, Kafka/MSK, Spark, Bedrock, and SageMaker; Python/SQL fluent.
• Experience architecting AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions, with governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead Ontology strategy and architecture on Palantir Foundry/AIP, including object model design and governance.
• Define reference architectures for Foundry/AIP capabilities and establish guardrails for usage.
• Integrate Ontology with core systems, data platform, and downstream apps.
• Define AI/GenAI/Agentic workflows with governance and Responsible AI controls.
• Define data architecture target state, data models, data mesh patterns, and data product standards.
• Set standards for data integration and event-driven patterns across Snowflake, Kafka, and Palantir.
• Provide AWS data/AI architecture direction (S3, Lambda, SageMaker, Bedrock) with security and cost focus.
• Lead architecture governance forums and translate strategy into a prioritized architecture roadmap.
• Mentor solution architects and establish reusable patterns and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with business/product leaders to align strategy with roadmaps.
