Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is seeking an Enterprise Data Architect to lead enterprise data, ontology, and AI platform strategy. You will shape scalable standards across Palantir Foundry/AIP, AWS, Snowflake, and related tools, guiding architecture for analytics, AI workflows, and secure data governance.

You will partner with technology and business leaders to define roadmaps, patterns, and guardrails that enable cost-effective, governed data usage and responsible AI practices across domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 10+ years in Enterprise Architecture, Data Architecture, Solution Architecture, or related roles, with 5+ years in an enterprise or domain architect capacity.
• 4+ years designing enterprise Data, Cloud, or AI architectures at scale.
• 3+ years of experience with Palantir Foundry and AIP, including Ontology design and governance.
• Deep expertise in enterprise data modeling, ontology/knowledge graphs, data mesh/data product thinking, domain-driven design.
• Strong architecture expertise with AWS, cloud-native patterns, event-driven integration, high availability, observability, and IaC.
• Experience with Snowflake, Kafka/MSK, Spark, Bedrock, and SageMaker; Python and SQL fluency.
• Experience architecting AI/ML, GenAI, RAG, and Agentic AI solutions, including governance and Responsible AI controls.
• TOGAF/ArchiMate familiarity and a proven ability to influence executive stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Own Ontology strategy and architecture on Palantir Foundry/AIP including object model design and governance.
• Define reference architectures for Foundry, AIP, and related capabilities with guardrails for usage.
• Architect Ontology integration with core systems, data platform, and downstream apps.
• Design architecture for AI, GenAI, and Agentic workflows grounded in Ontology and responsible AI requirements.
• Define data architecture target state, data models, and data mesh/lakehouse patterns.
• Set standards for data integration, API, and event-driven patterns across Snowflake, Kafka/MSK, and Palantir.
• Establish data governance, lineage, metadata, privacy, and security requirements.
• Provide AWS-based data/AI architecture direction (S3, Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, MSK, Bedrock, SageMaker).
• Lead Architecture Review processes, develop executive narratives, and align roadmaps with business outcomes.
• Mentor engineers and solution architects; drive reusable patterns and architecture governance.
