Job summary

Serco Inc. is seeking a Data Scientist to join the SCRM-focused program, contributing to data-driven insights and analytic solutions that identify and mitigate supply chain risks.

You can work remotely while collaborating with a broad network of suppliers, government stakeholders, and industry partners. Ideal candidates have a DoD Secret clearance eligibility, a relevant bachelor’s degree, and at least two years in data science or ML, with strong Python skills and database experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
• 2 years of hands-on experience in data science, analytics, or applied machine learning.
• Strong proficiency in Python and core data science libraries.
• Experience with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) for querying and analysis.
• The ability to travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop data science solutions for large, complex datasets related to supply chains.
• Apply AI, ML, and predictive modeling to identify patterns and risks.
• Write clean, well-documented Python code using data science libraries.
• Query, manipulate, and analyze structured and unstructured data from databases.
• Present findings through reports, dashboards, and briefings to technical and non-technical audiences.
