Job summary

West 4th Strategy is seeking an experienced Data Scientist to join the Office of the Under Secretary of the Army for Personnel and Readiness. The role involves developing Python scripts for data collection, cleaning, and preprocessing; building ML models and predictive analytics; maintaining ETL pipelines; and delivering data products with Qlik/Tableau dashboards.

Qualifications

• 3-10 years’ experience directly related to the outlined role responsibilities.
• 3 years’ experience as a Data Analyst or Data Scientist, with hands-on Databricks, Python, Spark and Pandas.
• Proficiency in Qlik.

Responsibilities

• Develop and automate Python scripts for collecting, cleaning and preprocessing data.
• Translate business requirements into data-driven solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Create reports and visualizations in Qlik sense to communicate findings to stakeholders.
• Build and deploy machine learning models and predictive analytics.
• Maintain historical data for the Faces to Spaces Data Model and update ETL for new data sources.
• Create data products and document report usage, data refresh procedures, and dashboard architecture.
