Job summary

Momentum Engineering in Fort Meade, MD seeks a Data Scientist 3 to design scalable data pipelines, automate reporting, and develop Python-based data solutions. You will support incremental and batch ingestion, validation, modeling, and dashboard automation.

Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Poly. Requires advanced degrees with substantial relevant experience and strong ETL, Python, and SQL skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s with 8 years or Associate's with 10 years in-depth relevant experience
• Experience designing and implementing ETL workflows
• Experience preprocessing and preparing datasets for reporting

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable ETL workflows
• Develop incremental and batch data ingestion processes
• Implement data validation and quality-control procedures
• Perform data transformation and modeling using SQL and Python
• Preprocess, normalize, and reshape datasets for reporting
• Develop automated reporting workflows and dashboards
• Build and maintain reusable Python automation packages
• Document data pipelines and procedures
