Job summary

The role demands expertise in Python/R, Databricks, and visualization tools, with a focus on end-to-end data workflow, quality controls, and actionable analytics for decision makers.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of data science experience.
• Proficiency in Python and R for exploratory analysis and modeling.
• Experience building and maintaining data pipelines (ETL).
• Advanced knowledge of Databricks or equivalent platform.
• Experience with visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Active Secret clearance and United States citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain automated data pipelines, including ETL over large heterogeneous data.
• Implement automated data quality checks, validation rules, and logging.
• Build metadata tagging and data lineage for traceability of results.
• Maintain pipeline code and infrastructure-as-code with governance docs.
• Improve models via hyperparameter tuning and feature engineering.
• Build dashboards and visualizations to convey findings clearly.
• Collaborate with cost analysts and engineers to translate results into recommendations.
