Eliassen Group is seeking a Data Scientist for a remote contract role focused on building predictive and analytical models to drive customer growth and portfolio profitability. The role collaborates with Marketing, Product, Finance, and Engineering to translate business needs into scalable data solutions.

Responsibilities include data extraction, feature engineering, model development, validation, deployment, and monitoring, with emphasis on forecasting and customer analytics.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, CS, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, OR, Physics or related quantitative field required.
• Master's degree or higher in a related quantitative discipline preferred.
• Experience delivering end-to-end analytical solutions and working with large-scale datasets.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, validate, and maintain predictive and forecasting models.
• Apply ML and advanced analytics to support customer growth and portfolio performance.
• Execute end-to-end analytical workflows including data extraction, model deployment, and monitoring.
• Develop scalable analytical datasets and reusable code libraries.
• Partner with stakeholders to define performance metrics and measure results.
• Translate business challenges into analytical approaches and technical solutions.
• Present findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
