Placements24 is seeking a Data Scientist for a fully remote role focused on building predictive models and data-driven energy analytics. You will analyze large energy datasets, develop ML solutions, and collaborate with domain experts to translate business challenges into data science processes.

The role emphasizes energy analytics, scalable pipelines, and delivering actionable insights for grid management and renewable integration in a global remote environment.

Qualifications

• Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist with a focus on predictive modeling and machine learning.
• Proficiency in Python or R and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement machine learning models for forecasting energy demand, supply, and pricing.
• Analyze large datasets from smart meters, grid sensors, and renewable sources.
• Build data pipelines and automate data processing tasks.
