Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Data Scientist to advance our client’s energy analytics initiatives. You will build and deploy machine learning models on vast energy datasets, build data pipelines, and craft dashboards to share insights with stakeholders across the organization.

This remote-first role emphasizes independent work, rigorous experimentation, and collaboration with energy-domain experts to inform strategic decisions and optimize operations.

Formación

• Master's degree or PhD in Data Science, CS, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
• Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience as a Data Scientist, with a proven track record in developing and deploying machine learning models.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or R, and expertise in data manipulation and analysis libraries (e.g., Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Strong experience with SQL and working with relational databases.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Spark, Hadoop) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in the energy sector or with energy-related datasets is highly advantageous.
• Excellent problem-solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage projects effectively in a remote setting.
• Must have reliable high-speed internet access and a suitable home office environment.
