Job summary

Connexus Credit Union is seeking a Data Scientist to solve business problems by turning data from Snowflake and other sources into actionable insights. You will partner with cross-organizational teams to identify opportunities, build models, and deliver data-driven recommendations that drive business outcomes.

The role emphasizes building conversational analytics capabilities and expanding AI usage to better serve members and employees.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor’s degree in data science, applied mathematics, statistics, or ML.
• 5+ years in a data scientist role.
• 1+ year working with stakeholders.
• Experience applying ML/AI algorithms to business problems.
• Proficient in Snowflake, Python, R, SQL, and data visualization tools.
• Excellent communication to present complex analyses to non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develops ML/AI solutions including predictive and prescriptive analytics.
• Handles data extraction, feature engineering, and data quality analyses.
• Creates dashboards and visualizations to display insights.
• Collaborates with teams to deploy data products delivering member/business value.
• Mentors data analysts and communicates project status clearly.
