Job summary

Lighthouse is seeking a Data Science Engineer to join a shared Data Science Core team supporting an AI platform for the hospitality industry. This remote, full-time role is based in Spain, collaborating with MLOps engineers and a Lead Data Scientist to shepherd work from initial questions to customer-facing models and AI products.

You will partner with internal teams to build and ship ML models for customers, take AI products to production, and research advances in AI for hospitality.

Qualifications

• Experience in data science, using Python to develop ML/AI solutions.
• Hands-on cloud orchestration experience.
• Proficiency with generative AI.
• Track record of taking ML models into production for customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders on ambiguous problems.

Responsibilities

• Partner with internal teams to contribute data science expertise across projects.
• Build, evaluate, and ship ML models for customer-facing use.
• Take models from business question to production delivery.
• Ramp up on key data domains and provide ongoing support.
• Research developments in advanced AI and explore hospitality applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to determine readiness for customer release.
