Job summary

INSPYR Solutions is seeking a DATA/QA Engineer to validate data via SQL/Python tests and build automated test suites. You will test APIs, validate scoring pipelines, and ensure data quality across environments. Strong Databricks experience and Python/SQL fluency are required to thrive in a Remote US-based role.

Ideal candidates will have 3–5 years of experience, a BS/MS in CS/CE, and the ability to work EST/CST hours with independent yet collaborative work style.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years work experience in data/QA
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field required
• Advanced SQL and Python proficiency for data validation
• QA testing experience for REST APIs and data pipelines
• Ability to automate tests and build test suites
• Strong knowledge of database design and ERD
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with team

Responsibilities

• Create SQL/Python scripts to test data accuracy across on-premise or cloud environments
• Automate data testing workflows and schedule jobs
• Test SQL/Python scripts from multiple sources for consistent results
• Validate business requirements against code outputs and scoring pipelines
• Build comprehensive API test suites to ensure correct outputs
