Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Data Platform Architect to define and lead the architecture of a scalable enterprise data platform in a remote US role. The candidate will shape ingestion, storage, processing, governance, and consumption layers and partner with data engineering, analytics, ML, and business stakeholders to ensure a cohesive data foundation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
15+ years of experience in data engineering with architecture roles.
Deep expertise across at least two major data platforms (Snowflake/Databricks/BigQuery/Redshift).
Strong understanding of lakehouse architectures, streaming systems, and data modeling.
Governance, lineage, and catalog capabilities experience; cloud familiarity.

Responsibilities

Define and lead the architecture of the enterprise data platform.
Set standards for data modeling, lifecycle management, and data quality.
Partner with data engineering, analytics, ML, and business stakeholders to deliver a scalable data foundation.
Drive data-platform programs across teams with architectural judgment.
