Job summary

Intermountain Healthcare Inc. is seeking a Data Architect - Staff to design and maintain both traditional and modern data infrastructures across cloud and on‑premise platforms.

You will develop scalable data solutions and ensure data quality while collaborating with enterprise stakeholders. You will work on moderate to complex projects, mentored by senior architects, using SQL, Python, PySpark, and RDBMS technologies to deliver robust data models and pipelines.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with SQL and experience with traditional RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP for data architecture and storage solutions.
• Strong familiarity with Python and PySpark for data engineering tasks.
• Working experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools (SSIS, Informatica) and cloud-native solutions (Azure Data Factory, Databricks).
• Proficiency with Python or PySpark or R programming.
• Excellent communication skills for collaborating with stakeholders and teams.
• Proficiency in Product/Program/Project Management philosophies and methodologies applied to data architecture projects.

Responsibilities
