Job summary

Reka is seeking a Member of Technical Staff in Data Intelligence to collaborate with researchers and data engineers. You will define quality metrics, build scalable data pipelines, and ensure training data provenance for reproducible experiments.

You will work across model research and production engineering, shipping reliable data-driven systems while leveraging Spark, Ray, and Airflow in a remote-first US team. Visa support is available for eligible candidates.

Qualifications

• Strong ML and deep learning fundamentals with experience building and operating large-scale data/compute systems.
• Experience moving between research questions and production engineering to ship reliable systems.
• Experience with data quality, datasets, and production data releases.
• Ability to design and run experiments with unbiased outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Define data quality metrics, validation checks, and acceptance thresholds for models.
• Explore open and internal datasets to build world-model datasets.
• Build algorithms for automated data quality assessment and domain adaptation.
• Track datasets, provenance, and versions for reproducibility of experiments.
• Own CI/CD and tooling for the data stack (GitHub, Python, PyTorch).
• Optimize throughput, storage, and compute across pipelines and assets.
