Job summary

Carewell seeks a Business Insights Analyst to translate complex data into actionable insights across marketing, merchandising, and Care Services. You’ll design reports, identify drivers, and collaborate with stakeholders to influence decisions. A 3–5 year track record in analytics and strong SQL are essential, with experience in Hex/Looker/Omni and AI tools.

This is a 100% remote role in the US, reporting to the Sr. Director of Analytics & Data Engineering.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, reporting
• Ability to work across multiple functional areas (marketing, product, finance, operations)
• Strong SQL skills and ability to read/write complex queries
• Working understanding of relational table structures and data modeling
• Experience with modern reporting tools (Hex, Looker, Omni)
• Practical experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) in analytics workflows
• E-commerce or direct-to-consumer experience preferred
• Degree in a quantitative/business-related field preferred

Responsibilities

• Design and build reports and dashboards enabling self-monitoring by stakeholders
• Identify drivers behind metric movement beyond surface-level data
• Collaborate with stakeholders to inform strategic decisions with data
• Define and track KPIs for teams and functions
• Prepare monthly financial reports with light analysis of revenue, margin, and costs
• Retire outdated reports to avoid signal-noise confusion
• Ramp across marketing, merchandising, finance, and Care Services to deliver useful analysis
