Job summary

ReSource Pro is seeking a Data Governance and Stewardship Lead to establish and maintain governance frameworks, standards, and controls across a data-intensive environment. You will translate governance concepts into practical policies, enable consistent adoption, and collaborate with cross-functional partners to meet client commitments.

You will drive data quality, lineage, lifecycle management, and documentation, while supporting privacy and responsible data use in analytics and AI

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing, implementing, or maintaining data governance frameworks, policies, and controls.
• Experience with data quality, lineage, catalogs, metadata management, and related tooling.
• Strong written and verbal communication to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain data governance frameworks, standards, policies, and controls.
• Define data ownership, stewardship, and quality responsibilities across business areas.
• Maintain documentation of governance requirements, decision rights, and operating practices.
• Monitor data quality, lineage, and lifecycle; ensure traceability from source to usage.
• Collaborate with security, legal, compliance, and analytics teams to meet regulatory and client commitments.
• Promote data literacy and provide governance training and guidance to stakeholders.
