Job summary

Dhaka Technologies Limited Company is seeking a Data Governance and Management Specialist (Microsoft Purview) to define and document governance across Medicaid data, building a data catalog and data lineage with practical recommendations. The role collaborates with State Medicaid staff and IT resources to deliver a comprehensive governance plan.

The position requires expert Purview knowledge, healthcare data experience, and the ability to work onsite in Sioux Falls, SD for the engagement

Qualifications

Expert level knowledge of Microsoft Purview, including Data Catalog, Data Map, lineage, classification, and business glossary.
Minimum senior level healthcare services knowledge, Medicaid or MMIS experience is strongly preferred.
Proficiency with relational SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
Deep understanding of enterprise database management and design best practices.

Responsibilities

Gather requirements with State IT resources and agency staff to identify Medicaid data sources and interfaces.
Build and maintain a Medicaid data catalog in Microsoft Purview with governance artifacts.
Document end-to-end data lineage across systems and reporting.
Develop the Medicaid Data Governance and Management Plan with policies and standards.
Assess and recommend improvements in data governance, cataloging, sharing, and integration.
Identify risks related to data management and security gaps.
Recommend tools to support governance, cataloging, and lineage.
Prepare a monthly status report on progress and timelines.
Perform other duties as assigned.
