Primary Skills: ERwin or ER/Studio and Microsoft Purview

We are seeking an experienced MS Data Management Consultant with strong expertise in data governance, data modeling, data cataloging, data lineage, and interface documentation. The consultant will support South Dakota Medicaid Modernization by developing and improving enterprise data management standards, interface documentation, and governance practices across Medicaid systems.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert-level experience with Microsoft Purview.
• Strong knowledge of relational SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Senior-level healthcare domain experience; Medicaid experience is highly desirable.
• Hands-on experience with data modeling tools such as ERwin or ER/Studio.
• Strong understanding of enterprise database architecture, design, and management best practices.
• Experience developing conceptual, logical, and physical data models.
• Proven experience with data catalogs, data lineage, and enterprise data governance frameworks.
• Experience creating and maintaining Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and interface registries.
• Understanding of business intelligence, data integration, and system interface design.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical teams and business stakeholders in an onsite environment.
