Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Data Governance to lead enterprise data governance programs across the organization. You will establish policies, standards, and procedures ensuring data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.

Collaboration with legal, compliance, IT, and business teams is essential to drive governance maturity. You will champion data stewardship, master data management, metadata practices, and reference data controls while guiding risk-based, auditable governance

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree with 9+ years of relevant experience; graduate degree with 7+ years preferred.
In lieu of a degree, 13+ years of related experience accepted.
Experience leading data governance programs and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enforce data governance policies, standards, and procedures across the enterprise.
Define data ownership, stewardship, and accountability structures across business domains.
Establish governance frameworks, councils, and working groups to drive governance maturity.
Ensure data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance.
Monitor data quality and remediate issues.
Support audits and risk assessments.
Provide training to data owners and end users.
Create documentation of governance frameworks and data lineage.
