Booz Allen Hamilton is seeking an experienced data engineer to build mission-ready technology and lead data engineering activities across diverse projects for national security and public-interest clients.

You will mentor cross-functional teams, oversee pipelines and platforms that organize disparate data, and apply PySpark, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, and AWS services to deliver scalable solutions. Join Booz Allen to turn data into actionable insights.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering with a data focus, including Databricks in production.
• 7+ years of Python and SQL experience, with PySpark performance tuning on large datasets.
• 5+ years with Delta Lake and bronze, silver, and gold medallion Lakehouse design, applied with judgment.
• 3+ years of Databricks Workflows, Asset Bundles, and YAML-defined deployments.
• 3+ years of Unity Catalog information architecture, governance including catalogs, grants, and lineage.
• 3+ years of software engineering applied to data including Git, automated tests for pipelines, and CI/CD for Databricks assets.
