Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in data engineering or software engineering with a data focus, including Databricks in production.
• 7+ years of experience using Python and SQL, with PySpark performance tuning on large datasets.
• 5+ years of experience with Delta Lake and Lakehouse design across bronze/silver/gold medallions.
• 3+ years of experience with Databricks Workflows and YAML deployments.
• 3+ years of Unity Catalog data governance and catalog/schema design.
• 3+ years of software engineering for data pipelines with CI/CD and tests.

Responsibilities

• Lead data engineering activities and oversee pipeline and platform development.
• Mentor a multi-disciplinary team of analysts, engineers, and developers in an Agile environment.
• Oversee assessment, design, building, and maintenance of scalable data platforms for clients.
