Innova Solutions is seeking a Data Engineer for a client project in New York, NY with remote options. The role is full-time on a contract basis for 6+ months.

You will build data ingestion pipelines and optimize SQL across Snowflake, Azure, and PostgreSQL. Requirements include 5+ years in data engineering, a related BA/BS, and strong Python/Java skills, plus hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Apache Airflow, Mulesoft, and data tools like DBT or Coalesce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Data Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Master's degree is a plus.
• 5+ years of data engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Create and manage data ingestion pipelines, setting up and maintaining data feeds and supporting batch and near real-time integrations across internal and external systems.
• Apply SQL to optimize performance across Snowflake, Azure, and PostgreSQL with stored procedures, views, ingestion and transformation tools.
• Implement transformation logic and data workflows, with version control and CI/CD pipelines.
• Establish observability and monitoring for data reliability, pipeline health, and SLA compliance.
• Collaborate with data architects to align solutions with enterprise data models for scalability and cost efficiency.
• Contribute to tool evaluation, architecture reviews, and automation to enhance data platform maturity.
