Job summary

Perform is seeking a data engineer to advance complex data models, integrations, and pipelines in a remote US-based role. You will collaborate with engineering teams to design robust data models, write efficient SQL Server procedures, and model MongoDB schemas to support application and reporting needs.

You will leverage Python and Node.js for data tooling, contribute to CI/CD and agile processes, and ensure data quality and performance across relational and non-relational workloads.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years delivering production solutions
• Strong SQL and NoSQL data modeling experience and data quality focus
• Experience in agile environments, CI/CD, and end-to-end data pipelines
• Proficient in Python; comfortable with JavaScript/Node.js and REST APIs
• US-based remote work within PT/ET with occasional travel to offices if needed

Responsibilities

• Support data engineering across application initiatives ensuring data models, integrations, and pipelines align with architecture standards
• Design and build robust data models, stored procedures, and database objects to support apps and reporting
• Develop and maintain SQL Server databases with schema design, indexing, and query optimization; design MongoDB document schemas
• Implement and optimize data pipelines, APIs, and data management tools in an agile setting
• Contribute to code and schema reviews, maintain data quality, performance, and consistency
