FICO is seeking a Data Engineer to own SQL Server, Amazon Redshift, and other cloud databases behind myFICO.com. You will build and run Python ETL/ELT pipelines feeding data warehouses and analytics platforms, preparing data for ML and AI use cases in AWS.

You’ll tune queries and schemas, work with Jupyter notebooks, and collaborate with product teams to modernize data environments, supporting data-driven decisions at scale.

Formación

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Hands-on Microsoft SQL Server administration: configuration, security, backup/recovery, index/statistics, HA/DR.
• Strong Python for data engineering (pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy, PySpark) and Jupyter notebooks.
• Hands-on Amazon Redshift administration and tuning (distribution/sort keys, WLM, permissions).
• Experience running data platforms in AWS (S3, Glue, Lambda, RDS) with encryption and access control.

Responsabilidades

• Design, build, and operate secure, high-performance SQL Server and Redshift databases.
• Build and maintain Python ETL/ELT pipelines feeding the data warehouse.
• Explore data in notebooks and prepare datasets for ML/AI use cases.
• Tune queries, indexes, and schemas to resolve latency and deadlocks.
• Collaborate with product/marketing to modernize data environments and enable analytics.
